Assignment of Psychology
Question: Describe about psychology? Answer: Elements Of Critical Thinking Reflect on the purpose of the discussion- With my friend I was watching a concert and our conversation started after it got over regarding the concert. We were discussing about the performers who participated in the concert last year and this year. The result we wanted to search that the performance which the concert people have last year was better or the performance they gave this year. The view point given by my friend was that the concert of last was better because there was many performers who were performing since many years and due to that the content of their concert and their performance both were better than this time. But according to the team is new and they will take time to excel but new talents should get chance or else how they will show their talent to the world. My friend gave the point that people with more experience will work better and it will be clean and clear. But for me if we do not give chance to new talent then how will the new generation will grow after the old generations retires. In every fi eld new comers are occupying the place of the out goers and making them apt in those places. So like that in the entertainment field also newcomers are coming and we should welcome them with open hand. To make my friend understand I gave him an example that in his workplace if the seniors do not retires then how come the newcomers like him will get chance. When I gave my view to my friend that a newcomer getting a job only when an employee is getting retired from a organization and at that place a vacancy is been created and the newcomer is getting into the organization because of that vacancy. Then my friend got the point and agreed with my point of view that newcomers should be getting opportunities and this will help them in growing and excel in their work. The Debilitating Effects of TV on Children 1. According to the author if children are watching TV for around 1-2 hours then they must not be doing their homework, getting poor grades and having negative attitudes towards everyone. Children watching TV for more than 2 hours are in greater risks for many unseen problems and are creating problem for themselves as well as for their parents (Feng, Reed, Esperat Uchida, 2011). Many experts have told that children watching TV are restricting their knowledge growth from the outer world. So watching TV for children of age 2-3 years is a big No. By watching TV the children are restricting their knowledge up to a certain level and this will not at all benefit them. Children, who are open to all types of knowledge and not restricting them by only watching TV will easily win against those children who are only watching TV and not gaining their knowledge (Marsh, Ni Mhurchu, Jiang Maddison, 2014). 2. The assumptions the author is making that:a. By watching TV there will be no growth of kn owledge for the children.b. The content they are watching in the TV should be according of their age.c. The children should not only watch cartoons but they should also watch shows where they can gain knowledge.d. The entertainment programs they are watching on TV that should stick till entertainment level only. Those things should not be applied in their daily life.e. Children of age before 3 years should not be allowed to watch TV because it will affect their brain. Ethical Dilemma a. Ethical dilemma can occur like after conducting the program and becoming successful, they can think of opening a new office of their own and appoint few people who will be working under them. They can take the clients with them to their new location telling them that they will give them better results (Lowe, 2000). b. No, I am against this type of act. If a person pulls such types of acts then in future that person will face problems in making other people believe that they will not stab them in their back. So to keep their faith they should not pull such type of acts.c. If a person working with his friends and after launching a product that person gets detached from that company and open up a firm in the same sector and taking half of the credit for making that product and attracts the customers and clients from his ex office then it will make that person a back stabber and further when will be working with his clients then in some or the other way he may have to listen about bac k stabbing and few clients may not accept his proposal of working together because of this nature (Spence, 2011). d. The author got to know about the socio-emotional development of a child and also about the parents. Fathers are getting involved with their wards and increasing the social competence and decreasing the externalizing and internalizing behavior. Fathers involving them in care giving and also increasing the internalizing behavior of their children. The reciprocal involvement of the father and their children in playing and their care giving is helping in nurturing the behavior of the ward (Naqvi Daubeney, 2009). Findings we get in the case study- a. Fathers involving themselves with mother and teachers in shaping up the behavior of their children.b. Fathers involving themselves playing with their wards are decreasing the internalizing and externalizing behavior.c. Fathers involving them in nurturing the care giving behavior of their children.d. From the findings it can be seen that what benefits the children are getting. The children are not getting out of the hand of their parents by getting so much care from their parents. Ideas the parents are using in nurturing their wards they can share with other parents which can benefit them and their wards also. We can get these information from the parents by holding a workshop and take feedbacks from them. No there will not be any risks or drawbacks by implementing this findings (Hoffman, 2003). What Are the Types of War and Peace Essay Topics?
What Are the Types of War and Peace Essay Topics? Before you write your War and Peace essay, you must know exactly what theme it is going to be. It can be anything from a military history to the epic poem of Charles Dickens. You may choose a specific historical figure or have a different character in mind that you want to use as a theme for your essay. After deciding on a particular theme, it is time to choose a topic for your essay. There are several categories of War and Peace essay topics. All of them will require different elements.Essays on the American Civil War are usually interesting because it is considered to be one of the most important events in American history. The reason is because it was the first war in which the North and the South fought together. Many factors had to be taken into consideration when writing this type of essay. Some of these were the fact that the North had the backing of the United States Government, the losses at Gettysburg, and the fact that the No rth was going to win the war.Another type of essay about the history of wars is the essay that deals with World War I. This war was actually only a small part of the entire Great War. The very beginning of the Great War was known as the First Battle of Ypres, in Belgium. This was also where the first trench was dug, the first helmets were put on, and the first armies of the soldiers of the world were formed. The theme of any War and Peace essay is to consider the overall theme of the war. Every historian, including yours truly, will tell you that there is no single definition of what war is. It is true that during the first two World Wars, all the men went to war under the military administration of their country. However, during the last two world wars, men went to war individually for each nation. One only has to look at the German soldiers during World War II, as they stood proudly by their guns, standing up to the enemy, wearing no uniform. The main point of an essay that is based on a particular theme is to look at the cause and effect of war. In order to successfully write an essay of this kind, one must take a close look at both sides of the coin, to try to understand what made the war as it was.Themes of different topics, from writing to great literature, are too many to list. However, one thing you must never forget is that there is a difference between writing an essay about war and writing an essay about history. An essay about the battle of Fort Wayne, Indiana, should not be confused with an essay about the battle of Saratoga, New York.

No matter who you are and how much you think you can controll it, money will corrupt most people in this so called world. The main character in this book is Wang Lung. In the beginning he is a common farmer who works in the fields all day next to his ox. He has a braid and has no reason to clean him self, his father who he supports is old and cannot help himself. When the money comes rolling in he hires people to do the work in the fields for him, he now wears silken robes and is clean every day. During this time he cuts off his braid and brings a conquebine to the great house of Whang, which he bought. Most of the workers on his fields think he is a fool, because he cannot see the things that are going on behind his back. In the book some spots were difficult to read because of the vocabulary, which made me go back and reread those trouble parts. The length of the sentences didn't effect me but when a word that I didn't know it made it harder to back track. I would not read annother book by Pearl S. Buck because I think it draged on too long and it didn't hold my intrest long enough to be really interesting. I experienced that her books are boring and drag on for hundreds of pages. It had no meaning, except for the torture I went through while I was reading it. Book Reports
